We provide funding to support the protection of the wild places, flora and fauna of Australia.

Need funding?
The Wild Country Environmental Fund was established in May 2022 by us - Georgina and Michael. We have a life-long affinity for wild places.
We distribute funds throughout the year to registered Australian charities with DRG1 status.
We distribute $10,000 a quarter and our individual grants are between $1,000 and $5,000 per project.
We encourage applications from registered charities small and focused or large and broad. Applications can be made on the application page.

Our story.
More than ever we feel there is a need for individuals to invest in leaving the world a better place.
We believe that education helps us explain the value of natural places and that direct action to preserve our fauna and flora is often required.
We also admire research that helps to understand how to save species and explain the intrinsic economic value of wild places.
We love to fund education and advocacy of wild places. We love to fund research into wild places and their ecology. We love to support direct action to protect these places.
